What are the advantages of renting a 9-seater bus?
These multi-seater touring cars are a useful and practical alternative to other means of transport such as bus or train. They are perfect for both business and leisure trips and there is no shortage of ideas in this area: a few hours out of town, an outing with friends, with children, with the whole family or even a stag party!
Our minibuses, such as the Citroën C4 Grand Picasso, are approved for up to 7 passengers, while the Citroën Jumpy can carry 9 passengers. They offer maximum comfort and there is lots of space for luggage. With this type of vehicle, you remain flexible in traffic, because even though it is more like a van than a car, it is still smaller than a bus and everyone can sit at the same time.

On the one hand, as we have already mentioned, they are comfortable and their height will give you the perfect perspective to see all the scenery and take all the pictures you want. On the other hand, when you need to rest after several hours of driving, just position the seats correctly and you'll have plenty of room to do so.
It is also worth noting that 9-seater vehicles are usually diesel, which means that their fuel consumption is low. This will have a direct impact on the cost of your rental.

How does the rental process work?
Once you have chosen the type of minibus (7 or 9 seats) you want, it's very simple: just enter your personal details and the booking is confirmed. When you pick it up, you need to have your ID card and of course your driving licence with you. No need to worry about a special driving licence. Yours will be just fine. In fact, all our rental minibuses can be driven with a category B licence, the same as for a passenger car. You will find all the necessary information on the general conditions page.
COSTS OF RENTING a minibus or multi-seater in French-speaking Switzerland
The rental price depends on both the number of seats and the mileage driven.
When booking, you can therefore choose between 4 mileage packages:
CITY
0km included.
This package is recommended if you have a short distance to cover. If you choose this option, you will have to pay between CHF 1.10 and 1.20 for each kilometre driven, depending on the vehicle hired.
EASY
100km included.
If you choose this option, you will have to pay between CHF 1.- and 1.10 for each kilometre driven, depending on the vehicle hired.
HOBBY
200km included.
If you choose this option, you will have to pay between CHF 0.60 and 0.80 for each kilometre driven, depending on the vehicle hired.
UNLIMITED MILEAGE
Unlimited kilometres.
This option is ideal for long trips. The price is the same regardless of the number of kilometres driven.
